The foundation of the CCG Group began in 1997 with the creation of Corporation Crédit-Gestion, a credit bureau specialized in commercial credit management, debt recovery, accounts receivable management and, to a lesser extent, pre-employment verifications.

Following the events of 9/11, the world realizes that no one is sheltered and companies are beginning to realize that they have a role to play in ensuring their safety and that of their employees. Since then, CCG has been improving and developing tools to identify risk factors that could lead to financial losses for Canadian companies.

In 2006, NSEC-CNES, the specialized division of the CCG Group, was founded. The National Safety Assessment Corporation is quickly becoming the national benchmark by offering the most rigorous safety assessments in North America, a prerequisite for the Government of Canada’s security clearance.

In 2009, CCG Group acquired the Canadian Credit Information Corporation, a major commercial credit bureau established in 1986 in Qubec City, specializing in commercial credit and title searches. This addition strengthens the CCG Group’s position in the Canadian market.

Always with the aim of doing a little more for its clientele, CCG Group offers its clients a mobile service of criminal record checks by fingerprinting. This mobile service responds to a specific need for industries to meet high safety standards.
